This past Sunday, celebrating my birthday we went to visit my Great Aunt, she shared with us her albums and in there I found a treasure. I asked permission to take this photo home with me, my mom as a little girl, what a TREASURE for me!!!! she said yes and so here I am working with it. I decided to continue with Scrap Around the World mood board and Sparkle and Shine challenges. I think they suited the photo beautifully, you be the judge!
Here are some close up details
and the full view
here's the mood board, so very inspiring colors and blooms
And of course, lovely to have you here for a visit!
Hi everyone! Finally here after doing my CHA rounds and family visits. I had a fun time and now I'm back to creating, feels good!
Here's what's on my table today inspired by the beautiful moodboard at Scrap Around the World and the Finnabair Sparkle and Shine challenge
Needless to say I was inspired by the beautiful soothing palette of soft rose and teal, the clock, antique keys and the roses...
it is a special treat for me to have my mom smiling in a photo and how wonderful to be all 3 of us together for a generational picture! We had a beautiful day visiting my Great Aunt of 95!!!
I guess you all can see the resemblance!
I used Prima bloom sprays in cotton candy and teal for the hues and tons of Art ingredients here to create textures and depth
I have been trying to get the sparkle and shine on my pic and my that is so hard, I guess you can see a bit here where the sun hits the art sugar in the petals.
I thought the little nest with the 3 eggs was perfect!
Hi everybody! Off to a new CSI Case this week as we keep with our birthday theme!
Here' my take on this weeks palette and some details for you! Tons of background here, stamps, watercolor, gesso, so rich in textures
For my scheme I used flowers and it's all there
For my evidence I used
mesh, polka dots, watercolor background, mesh, pearls, jewels, bow
For my testimony I documented a gift I had given,
you see she is now ten, not so easy to find clothes that don't make her a little girl or a mini adult, how difficult is that. But I finally found it, the perfect one!
Hi everybody and Happy New Year, a Major case open last night over at CSI, we are kicking off the New Year with brand new cases for you to play!
We also have a brand new sketch by Em, here's the way I solved my case
For my scheme I used all colors.
For my evidence I used pleated paper and tulle, pom pom trim, sprinkle something (I went with sequins)
For my testimony I handwrote my journaling
