I had purchased this wood bin thinking maybe I could house all my watercolors in one place. When I placed them inside I couldn't believe it was a perfect match!
I had used my artExtravagance white crackle paste but not this heavy, I patiently waited a whole day to come back to my work station to find the most beautiful and deep cracks ever today...
I then proceeded to rub the fabulous mica powder in pink in those beautiful cracks,
I also painted the exposed wood with more raspberry color to match the mica powder. The shimmer here is amazing, have you tried them yet?
For the sides of my bin I used some recycled packaging from Julie Nutting's etched wood ornaments, they were just the perfect size for this project and I happened to have saved the 3 I had used ;) go Earth!
For my embellishments I used some Bloom Girl metal flowers, some Finnabair Vintage Trinkets and I also die cut a metal flower from Prima's purple dies.
And here's my finished piece, I love it and hope it inspires you to make your own!
