Vacation

Hi everyone it's a fine Sunday and we are spending time with my parents I law   The new sketch at the Prima blog made by Riika is a beauty I wanted to keep it clean  taking my cues from the water looks on the sketch. The fancy painterly feeling in it.  I used Prima watercolor pencils, Prima bloom sprays and Finnabair mica powder all in shades of tranquil teals
Here's my take
After priming my card stock I embossed 3 big blooms with white. I wanted them to show through after my watercolor wash
I used the pencil for the light blue and opened my spray bottle to use a paint brush for the side to side swish
The brads and enamel dots are from one of my all time fave collection by Prima released last summer and perfect for beach moments!
The green Prima wire gives movement and the embossed Aqua dots were done with a Finnabair stamp
I stamped my title with sticky embossing powder and a brush coat of teal mica powder.  The glow on the title is fantastic
Here's the sketch!

  2. OMGoodness, this is absolutely stunning, Milagros! You completely nailed that sketch here, my friend! I love the soft, dreamy look to your page, and the movement and shine to the background really does make me think of the ocean. I love the white embossed flowers... they are really subtle, but it makes it look like a wave is about to crash over the photo. And I absolutely LOVE what you did with the brads, dots and wire. My gosh, that is SO cool!
