Remember the Now

Well I must confess purple and all its hues are not exactly my faves. But I think that's the purpose of challenges. To take you out of your comfort zone and make you think outside the box. So it is surprising for me to decide on a second purple project for /scrapafrica
Playing on my journal today while teaching some gelato techniques with stamps today!
Very bold I think but that goes with Dina Wakley stamps. She is a believer and Tim Holtz Remember the Now!
Black cherry and lime gelatos with Prima stamps

Some free doodling
I connected the words too
What I used
And how my day was finished.
Here's the mood board again
Thanks for visiting!

  1. Wow! great journal page and well done on thinking outside the square. Purple isn't my favourite either but who can resist this beautiful mood board?! I love the stamping on this and once again great use of Gelatos. Thanks for sharing this with us at Scrap Africa :)

  4. Oh, that is awesome, Milagros! I am the same way... rarely drawn to purples in my work, and yet I always think it is so striking when I see it used. Love the shade you chose and love it paired with the lime green. And your artsy bold graphic journal page design is fabulous!
